The Alpakas Elements Backpack Pro is an absolute workhorse of a bag. This thing is feature-rich and one of the best backpacks I have ever used. The Element Pro has a 27L capacity and is full of great storage pockets. From the pocket placement on the interior of the bag to the tough-as-nails fabric to the well-thought-out shoulder straps, there is no better bag, in my opinion, that you can buy in this price range.
Its well-thought-out layout and the great placement of pockets on both the interior and exterior make it easy to find your items. If you value organization, this backpack sets the gold standard. I haven’t been this happy with a backpack in a long time. I’m super thankful the brand gave this to us to check out, as I’m thoroughly impressed.

What is the Alpaka Elements Backpack?

- It's just the right size!
- The contrasting fabric looks awesome
- Lots of easy-to-use and find pockets
- The accessories are a bit too expensive.
The Element Pro is a 27L Commuter-style backpack; the model I was given is a black Axoflux Recycled Fabric (600D) on the exterior and an Axoflux (300D) in light gray on the interior.
There are many zippered and un-zippered pockets on this bag, so if you are like me and want places for all your stuff, there are many options (Paid Link). The shoulder straps are of a curved design, and when looking at them, they may seem uncomfortable, but the straps actually fit around your neck and make carrying a fully loaded backpack a breeze.
What do I like about the Elements pack?
1. It’s just the right size!
The size of this bag hits a sweet spot for me anything from 22-30L is a great day pack for taking more than your average lunch and water bottle with you, and this bag falls in there at 27 Liters for this bag I think it is a great size to bulk ratio as there is not a lot of pockets everywhere on the exterior of the bag but opens up and has a lot of internal space.
2. The contrasting fabric looks awesome
A lot of backpacks just have the same exterior and interior color. If you have a lighter bag, that is great to see the bottom of your bag, but if you favor the bark colors like the black that this element pro is in, then it may be challenging to find things at the bottom of the bag, but Alpaka has lined the inside with a light gray material, and it makes finding cords (that are usually black) easy to find rolling around on the bottom of this backpack.
3. Lots of easy-to-use and find pockets
There are a lot of easy-to-find and easy-to-access pockets on this backpack. Pens, Notebooks, Keys, Chargers, Water bottles, AIR TAG! If you have it, there is probably a place to put it in this backpack; it has a zipper and un-zippered pockets, which is one aspect of this backpack that stands out.
What do I NOT like about this Alpaka bag?
1. The accessories are a bit too expensive.
Expensive accessories, the cool part of this bag is the ability to add different things like a key organizer and things of that nature, but they do come at a price. For me, I don’t want to buy a premium backpack and then pay $30 for a key holder… that is just me, but if you are going to be using it every day and you absolutely need a keyholder, then you may just go on and spend the extra. It may sound bad, but there is not a lot I don’t like about this backpack, and I guess that is negative.
Who should buy the Alpaka Elements Backpack?
If you need a tough backpack to carry more than most people tend to carry day to day, then this backpack will make you a very happy traveler. From organization to ergonomics and the comfort factor. This backpack will be a great addition to your EDC and help keep you organized and comfortable for a long time to come. You may not need a backpack this big all the time, but this backpack will work great for carrying your lunch and water back and forth and for those rare occasions to carry your whole workstation with great comfort.
