Father’s Day is coming up, and after so much time reviewing products, it is time to put together the products I feel are best for the father in your life! These are some of my favorite products you can buy that should bring a smile to his face!

I have spent a lot of time reviewing wallets on this site (and YouTube channel), and one of the most impressive is the Ridge Wallet Forged Aurora (thank you Ridge for gifting this to me). While this one technically doesn’t top my list of all-time best minimalist wallets, it is one of the most impressive due to its high-quality carbon fiber and the green aluminum flakes in it. Top that off with a awesome design from a brand that he will actually recognize, means he will instantly enjoy this wallet.

This wallet can handle up to 12 cards, and a few bills of cash, and not much else! He’ll be able to cut down on the bulk from his traditional bifold (or even a trifold) and won’t be carrying around years’ worth of receipts that are hidden behind all that leather.

These Ridge wallets really are built to impress.

2. Rode Wireless ME

For the Content Creator
4.7
$147.90
Pros:
  • The quality of the sound is fantastic.
  • Easy to set up at a moment's notice.
  • Fantastic battery life.
  • It has great build quality and is quite durable.
  • The camera-based portion is also a microphone.
  • Accessories are included to make it work for anyone.
Cons:
  • The sound is a bit too quiet, regardless of the settings used.
  • I wish I had upgraded to having two lapel mics.
  • The mics like to unpair, and repairing the devices can be a pain.

If your Dad is in any way a video content creator, you might want to help up his game in a serious way with some high quality microphones. Now, these aren’t insanely expensive by any means, but they have made some of the biggest changes in my video quality I have ever seen.

The Wireless ME is a lapel microphone-style setup that utilizes the remote microphone and a transmitter (which doubles as a microphone as well). They both are completely battery-operated (rechargeable), and once they are set up, getting them going is a simple setup process.

After using cheaper options, along with another option from the same brand, I can say this is by far my favorite option for someone wanting to make their videos higher quality.

3. Ovation Celebrity

For the Guitarist
4.7
Pros:
  • When plugged in, it sounds way above its price point.
  • Very comfortable to play when standing
  • The neck is easy to play.
  • The off-center holes are amazing.
  • It's a conversation starter.
  • No longer losing picks
Cons:
  • The rounded back slips when sitting
  • The sound quality is not great when unplugged.
  • Wish it was a different color.
  • Need to be careful of temperature swings.
Quick Note: The guitar I own is from 1993, links you find here are to more modern versions of this guitar.

I have been a big fan of Ovation for over 15 years, and nothing has changed since. These are incredibly high-quality guitars, but they are even more unique. Their rounded backs, and the off-center holes make it feel special amongst the seat of sameness.

As a used guitar, you can pick these up for around $300 (like I did), and they compete with guitars two to three times their price, no issues. Now, this guitar is best suited for someone looking to mainly play on stage or plugged in, as that is where this one shines.

Due to its thinner body, I’d steer clear, as its unplugged sound is less than desirable. Regardless, for the Father in your life, if he at all enjoys guitars, this is a special way to say thanks that no one else likely has thought of.

I have been using key organizers for years now, and have tested out quite a few during that time. However, the one I have personally landed on as my daily driver is this Key Case from Ekster (which they gifted me)! It may not be able to hold as many keys as some competitors, and is still quite expensive (for the sum of its components), but it has been perfect for me.

This key organizer essentially stacks your keys together and then wraps them in a leather strap. This makes each key easy to find in the dark but also protects other things (like your wallet) from getting scratched up by your metal keys.

If your Dad has just about everything, this might be an easy way to make a daily impact on his life.

5. Groove Belt Ultra

For those with Baggy Pants
4.7
Pros:
  • Easy latch mechanism
  • Strong belt buckle
  • Doesn't have too much stretch
  • Slimmer profile
  • No moving parts
  • Looks great
Cons:
  • Not TSA approved
  • Trimming is a weird process

Belts with holes are old-school. However, most guys (likely including your Father) still have them. They wear out quickly, are not infinitely adjustable, and are just annoying (like really annoying). Instead, you should consider getting something like this Groove Belt Ultra (that the brand had gifted me) that was just launched by Groove Life.

This newest addition to their lineup is slimmer, less expensive, and latches and unlatches at a moment’s notice. You can adjust it to whatever length you need and leave it at that.

These are high quality, easy to use, and with its new lower price point, it’s a fantastic Father’s Day present.

6. Yeti Rambler 20oz

Can we do away with the misconception that Yetis are just overpriced? Well, they may be overpriced, but they are also over engineered to match. I have had my Rambler 20oz Tumbler for a long time now, and it continues to be my go-to, to-go coffee mug whenever I go out and about.

Its magslider lid does a great job of keeping the coffee in (along with the heat), and the exterior of the mug can take a beating. Speaking of the Magslider, you can easily drink out of this coffee mug with just one hand, which is where many of its competitors fall short (I’ve tried quite a few).

Either way, if your Dad is someone who enjoys drinking a cup of coffee, he’ll instantly know you went the extra mile and spent enough to get him the right mug, and not just A mug.
